We did not compare with another contractor, because we had experience with Overson Roofing on different house. Everything was done well, from inspection and estimate, through removal of area that had deteriorated too much and recoating of whole roof. We received all service in timely and friendly manner. Old roofing that was removed was carried away. The temperature was hot, and the removal and installation crew worked very hard in those conditions, and were very considerate and friendly. The roofing is better than any we have had on any house we have owned. We didn’t get finished pictures, and since we are in our eighties, we couldn’t check out the finished product for a couple of days, when our grandson could help with that. We did climb the ladder under his supervision, and at least feel the surface, and our grandson took pictures for us. So for elderly people the company might consider providing that step when needed. Stephen came out to give me an quote. He was thorough, friendly and put my mind at ease right away. They worked directly with my insurance company, and tarped my roof to avaoid further damage. I only had to wait just iver a week to get started. I was given a date that materials would be delivered, and they were right on time. I had a start date, and they started right on time. They even tapped my pool to keep out debris. I was was told the replacement would take 3-5 days, and their skilled roofers were done in 4 days. They worked sun up to sundown everyday.
